  My fiancé and I went to August 8 to celebrate our 2 year anniversary. The menu has a very limited selection, which we were absolutely fine with as we were advised that it was because it was all made "in house". We had the soup of the day to start which was very good, and then I had a salad for my main course. I was disappointed with the salad and returned it, untouched. The management REFUSED to take the salad off of our bill. There was nothing we could do or say to have this item fairly removed from our bill. My fiancé calmly asked the manager if they are willing to chance us never returning to their restaurant again over a $10 salad, his response…… "Absolutely!". I have never felt so unappreciated, especially on a day that meant so much to us.....

  Great food and impeccable service! Large portions for the entrees, I got the pork shank which came with mac and chess that was too die for and my boyfriend had the seafood mac and cheese that had tons of seafood in it. Our server answered all of our many questions and we had a lovely time! Thanks for the great experience!

  August restaurant catered our wedding anniversary May 2016 and people still talk about how good the food was!! The brisket was the best I've ever had. We just recently had brunch at August as well and we were very please with the food, service and atmosphere (homemade jams that are served with the toast were to die for). The menu is always changing based on the local food offerings! Highly recommended. Reservations are also recommended as it gets quite busy!
