  I was actually quite disappointed with this restaurant. Our server was extremely unfriendly the entire meal, and did not manage to smile even once. The food overall was good, but neither the quality nor the size of the portions was good enough to justify the high prices. The dishes were hit or miss; my mom's salmon was dry and the beet salad was lacking, but the salmon pie and desserts were fantastic. Neither the service nor the food matched the quality that their prices and presentation demanded.

  front of house and initial waitress gave dirty looks with 2 kids. our waitress was friendly. great fries and soup. really slow service. burger was best on menu from a mains perspective. pasta mehn. mackerel had good sides but over cooked. croque madame was gross.
